Marriott Hollins Hall is set amongst 200 acres of Yorkshire Moorland, with
stunning views across Baildon Moor and Aire Valley.
Opened in June 1999, the course has the style of a classic British heathland course.
A blend of two contrasting nines, the front nine covers the high land to the north,
which is open and exposed, and can provide a severe test with the wind coming in
across the moors. The back nine, further down the valley includes a particularly
special hole, the par four 14th, overlooked by the Shipley to Guiseley viaduct
railway line.
Strategic bunkering and large undulating greens put the emphasis on accuracy.
However at 6,700 yards off the championship tees, or as short at just over 5,400
yards, the course has been designed with players of all abilities in mind.
